Foundation and Powder Kit

Here are the foundation and powder products and what they do to your skin.

Liquid foundation

It provides sheer to medium coverage that can be applied with a sponge. Some artists however use their fingers for they believe that it helps them blend the make-up well.

Stick Foundation

It offers more coverage and it is easier to blend than the liquid. The hands still are the best to smoothen the skin.

Cream-to-powder-foundation

This is good for matte-looking face which is applied with the use of a damp sponge. The result is a dewy matte finish.

Tinted moisturizer

This is ideal for those who do not want to use foundation. The tint should match the skin so that it would not look like it is tanned.

Pressed Powder

This is apply over the foundation. It should be applied with a powder sponge avoiding
a smoothing motion.

Loose Powder
A translucent powder would make good as a finishing touch for make-up.A big fluffy brush should be used to apply the powder.

For application of foundation and powder, these two kits are essential
1. foundation sponge
2. powder brush

Tips for Applying Foundation

To be sure that you get the correct foundation shade that matches your skin, these are five tips to remember.

1. Do not test the foundation in your hand. Oftentimes, the beauty counsellor apply it to your hand. Apply it instead in your jawline.

2. Use blotting paper instead of reapplying foundation or powder when face starts shining.

3. To get a softer look especially in the evening, apply foundation before taking a warm shower.

4. Choose the lighter shade when there are two shades to choose from.

5. Do not apply too much foundation.
